How to add an admin on your v rising server

An admin on a v rising server will have access to all in-game commands. So make sure you only give this to people you know, you can trust. You can see all the commands you have access to by doing the command list

Ingame Console

First, we need to enable the in-game console. This will allow you to run admin commands on your server.

Open the game and head to the main menu. Look for the button-marked options.

Once in the options screen, head to general.

Here you'll see a number of options and settings, the one we're looking for is to enable the console. Just press on the box and exit out the settings.

You can now access the in-game console with the ` button. For most keyboard layouts this is the button to the left of the 1 on the top row.

Adding An Admin

To add an admin, you'll need to locate the file at: /VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings/adminlist.txt

Here you'll need to place their steam ID.

Now restart your server.

Ingame

Now you can connect to your server, and by pressing the ` when ingame run admin commands.
